1. About Our Service

Y Signs (operated from ydesignguide.com) is a factory-direct manufacturer of custom illuminated signage. We build front-lit channel letters, halo-lit channel letters, front and back-lit signs, spectrum-glow letters, and infinity-mirror letters for businesses in the United States and Canada.

You browse our catalog, request a quote through our inquiry form, and we build and ship your sign from our factory in Huizhou, Guangdong, China. This is a commission-based service: we do not operate a shopping cart and we do not take payment on this website. Payment terms are agreed case-by-case after a quote is confirmed.

2. Using the Website

• You may browse our product pages, industry guides, blog posts, and installation instructions at no cost.
• Our inquiry form asks only for the information needed to prepare a quote (your name, email, phone, industry, and project details). Submitting the form does not create an obligation to purchase.
• We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any page, product line, or feature without prior notice, provided the core quoting service remains available.
• Content on this site (text, images, designs, layout) is our property unless otherwise indicated. Do not copy or republish it for commercial use without our written permission. Short excerpts with attribution are welcome.

3. Quotes and Orders

1. Quotes. A quote is an estimate, not a binding offer. Letter size, font, face finish, and installation context all affect the final price. The price we confirm with you in writing is the binding one.
2. Approvals. Before we build, we send you a visual proof (rendered image of your letters in your artwork). Production starts only after you approve the proof.
3. Custom work. Every sign is made to your artwork. Once production begins, cancellation is not possible and custom letters cannot be resold; we will discuss a partial refund only in special circumstances.
4. Payment. We collect payment by bank transfer or another method agreed at the time of ordering. Your sign is released to shipping only when payment is complete.

4. Shipping and Delivery

Signs ship from China by UPS parcel or truck freight, depending on size. Typical production time is about 5 working days after artwork and details are confirmed; transit time runs from the moment the shipment leaves our facility. Delivery dates we quote are estimates — international logistics can introduce delays we do not control.

5. Installation, Permits, and Local Law

Your sign arrives ready to mount with clips, pattern, and low-voltage power. You are responsible for the installation side: choosing the right fasteners for your wall, complying with local sign permits, building codes, fire codes, and any landlord or HOA rules that apply to your location. Our installation guide is advice, not a guarantee that your specific installation meets local law.

6. Warranties

• LED warranty. LED modules and drivers are covered for 3 years from delivery against defects in materials and workmanship. The warranty does not cover damage from impact, improper wiring, voltage spikes, or environmental causes beyond the design limits.
• Face and body. Acrylic faces and aluminum bodies are warranted against manufacturing defects. Normal weathering, fading at extreme UV exposure, or physical damage is excluded.
• Claims. To make a warranty claim, contact us with your order number and photos. We will arrange a repair, replacement, or refund at our discretion.

7. Limitation of Liability

Because the sign is custom-made, the total liability we bear for any claim is limited to the price you paid for the specific sign. We are not liable for lost profits, business interruption, or for how the sign performs once installed in conditions we did not specify (e.g., a mount that fails because of an improper fastener on your wall).

8. Intellectual Property

You own your logo and artwork. By sending us artwork for production you confirm you have the rights to use that artwork in a sign and you release us from liability for any third-party claim arising from the artwork itself. We keep your files for the life of the order so we can produce replacements.

9. Personal Data — Short Version

We collect only what a quote requires: your name, contact details, and project information. We use it to prepare and deliver your sign and to answer your questions. We do not sell your data. For the full detail, read our Privacy Policy and see your options on the Privacy Choices page.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes that cannot be settled informally go to the courts with jurisdiction over our factory address in Huizhou, Guangdong. In practice we resolve most issues by talking to us first — please use the contact details below before anything else.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the bottom of this page reflects the current version, and material changes will be posted here before they take effect. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the new terms.
